Fiona Spowart is a Solicitor and Notary Public in our Private Client department and is based in our Glasgow Office. She joined TC Young in February 2022 as a Trainee Solicitor and qualified in February 2024.
Since joining the firm, Fiona has worked exclusively within the Private Client department advising clients on a range of matters including Wills, Power of Attorney, Trusts and administration of estates. She has a particular interest in providing Inheritance Tax advice and guiding families through complex estate matters. Fiona also has a developing knowledge of Trust matters, including compliance changes for Non-Taxable Trusts registering with HMRC and the introduction of the Register of Persons Holding a Controlled Interest in Land (RCI).
Fiona is currently working towards obtaining STEP qualifications to build her ability to provide clients with practical advice tailored to their personal circumstances.
