Vicky Lewis is a Partner in the Family Law Team in Edinburgh and is accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a specialist in Family Law. She has over 20 years’ experience representing clients’ interests in family law related matters and has significant Sheriff Court advocacy experience.
Vicky advises clients on many aspects of family law, including financial provision on divorce, pre and post nuptial agreements, cohabitation agreements and child law matters including residence and contact disputes. She has a particular interest in complex financial provision cases and has extensive experience in negotiating and drafting Minutes of Agreement.
Vicky is a Notary Public, a member of the Family Law Association, and Lead Tutor at the University of Edinburgh on their Diploma in Legal Practice Family Law Elective. She is well respected for her practical and sensible approach to negotiations and the majority of Vicky’s clients come to her through the recommendations of previous and existing clients and professional referrals.
