Simone Callaghan is an accredited paralegal in debt recovery and a key member of our private rented sector team assisting clients with recovery of possession and rent arrears.
Simone regularly appears on behalf of Private Landlords at the First-tier Tribunal (Housing and Property Chamber) involving debt recovery, evictions and rent arrears. Simone assists clients from the initial instructions, serving notice, applying to the Tribunal and enforcement of Tribunal Orders. She regularly drafts Tribunal applications and is able to give clients practical advice on the Tribunal process.
Simone completed her specialist paralegal qualification in debt recovery in 2023. She now has her Accredited Paralegal status through the Law Society of Scotland.
Simone has worked at TC Young for 6 year and joined TC Young as a modern apprentice. Simone provided a wide range of administrative and secretary support across various departments before joining the Private Rented Sector team. Simone initially provided a wide range of administration support to the team before completing her specialist paralegal qualification through CLT Scotland. Simone completed this qualification whilst working full time in the private rented sector team.
