Bio

Philip Abramson is a Trainee Solicitor at TC Young specialising in private client, conveyancing, and court work.

Philip holds a Law degree and a Bar Professional Practice Certificate from City University, London, and a Law degree and a Diploma in Professional Legal Practice from the University of Edinburgh.

Philip has previously worked as a county court advocate, and as a Law Reporter with the Incorporated Council of Law Reporting. During his traineeship, which he is due to complete in August 2025, Philip has worked in the private client and conveyancing team and is now in the court team. Philip has advised and assisted clients in matters such as executries, wills, and Powers of Attorney, and has appeared on behalf of clients in court.

Philip earned First Class law degrees at both City University and University of Edinburgh. He was awarded Best Researcher of the 2022 University of Edinburgh Mooting Competition by the WS Society, and in 2023 received the highest mark in his University of Edinburgh diploma year for the Professional Skills and Responsibilities module.

Outside work, Philip is an active member of his local Jewish community. Philip enjoys boardgames, amateur ballet, and spending time with his wife and two children.
