Bio
Paulette Campbell is a trainee solicitor at TC Young, currently undertaking her first seat in the Glasgow Commercial Property team.
Paulette graduated with her LLB from the University of Edinburgh in 2023, before completing her Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Strathclyde.
Whilst at university, she worked in a busy firm for over 2 years where she dealt with residential sales and purchases, alongside assisting clients with their remortgages, Discharge of Securities, and transfer of titles.
A background in property and experience of direct client contact has enabled her to embark on her first seat with confidence. She has welcomed the switch from working with individuals to working with companies, RSL’s, and factors. She is enthusiastically undertaking tasks to learn new skills and expand her knowledge of different areas within the property sector.
She enjoys assisting her team on complex transactions where interesting legal questions regularly arise. She assists by drafting documents, registering deeds, and reporting on titles. She also enjoys working with other departments within the firm, such as answering the Court team’s title queries when their cases involve property/land.
Outside of work, Paulette enjoys exploring new cities, socialising with friends, and reading.
