Neil is a Senior Associate in our Dispute Resolution team.
Neil holds a Scots Law Degree with Honours (LLB), a Masters degree in Law (LLM) and a Diploma in Legal Practice.
Having joined TC Young as a trainee solicitor in 2015, Neil qualified in 2017 and has worked exclusively in litigation.
He has vast experience in civil litigation matters at both Sheriff Court and Court of Session level. Neil is regularly instructed and trusted by other Solicitors in Scotland and elsewhere in the UK to act as Court of Session agent in complex litigation matters. Neil has experience in a variety of commercial litigation matters including Debt Recovery, Building/construction disputes, Contentious Wills/Estates, Land/Title disputes, contract disputes and professional negligence claims.
Neil is a registered Notary Public and member of the Law Society of Scotland
Neil was recognised for the work in his field recently and was awarded Associate Solicitor of the year at the Scottish Professional Awards in 2024.
Outside of work Neil enjoys keeping fit and spending time with friends and family.
