Lynne Lind is a Senior Solicitor based in our Private Client Team. Lynne has a particular interest in Adults with Incapacity work.
Lynne obtained her Law Degree from Glasgow Caledonian University and her Diploma in Legal Practice from University of Strathclyde. Lynne qualified as a solicitor in 2016.
Before joining TC Young, Lynne gained significant experience in dealing with various aspects of private client work, having worked as a paralegal for 11 years prior to qualifying as a solicitor.
Lynne regularly makes applications to Courts throughout Scotland for Financial and Welfare Guardianship Applications and Intervention Orders. She also provides general advice to families and carers of adults who lack capacity including establishing Trusts for vulnerable adults. Lynne’s varied workload also includes advising clients on Wills and Powers of Attorney, providing advice to Guardians and Attorneys, advising on Access to Funds applications, seeking recognition of English orders in Scotland, advising on Care Costs. Lynne also provides reports relating to Adults with Incapacity for Courts.
Lynne enjoys working closely with individuals, families and carers groups on these sensitive issues. Lynne also delivers seminars and presentations to professional audiences, carers and support groups and educational establishments who cater for young adults with additional support needs on legal matters including guardianship, power of attorney, trusts, capacity and care costs.
Lynne is a Notary Public and a certified Mental Health First Aider.
Outside work, Lynne enjoys holidays, eating out, spending time with friends and family and going to the theatre.
