Evelyn Wallace joined the team at TC Young in October 2017, she has over 12 years of family and child law experience.

She has wide experience in the field of family law including divorce, child contact and residence disputes, pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements and issues arising from cohabitation. Evelyn considers all of the options for resolution of matters with her clients, aiming to reach a fair settlement for clients by way of negotiation but when this is not possible she has extensive experience appearing in court where required.

Evelyn has a keen interest in children’s referrals, adoption and permanence, including appearing regularly at children’s hearing and the sheriff court. Her empathetic and approachable manner makes her well suited to these sensitive areas of practice.

She vast experience in family cases and is appointed to act as Child Welfare Reporter and Curator  for Glasgow Sheriff Court in disputed cases involving the welfare of children.

Evelyn is accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a Family Law Mediator and certified as a Trauma Informed Solicitor.   She is also a member of the Child and Family Sub Committee for the Law Society of Scotland, CALM Family Mediators Scotland and the Glasgow Bar Association.

I had Evelyn as my lawyer for over 4 years dealing with a very difficult situation regarding my daughter.

Evelyn was absolutely wonderful during these 4 years, she gave me so much guidance on how to try and cope and deal with things to the best of my ability.

I wasn’t the easiest of people to deal with but having Evelyn on my side was such a relief and helped a lot.

Now me and my little girl can live a happy life knowing that we had one of the best lawyers in world fighting for us.

I just want to thank all the team again for everything they done for us.
