Bio

Arleen McDonald has over 20 year’s legal experience and has been with TC Young for 20 years.

She is highly experienced in conveyancing matters (buying and selling homes) and is a key contact within the firm for all residential conveyancing related queries and quotations (i.e. Land & Buildings Transaction Tax and Additional Dwelling Supplement Tax payable on purchase transactions). She has particular expertise in advising prospective purchasers buying in Scotland for the first time.

Arleen is involved in all aspects of the conveyancing process, from the initial contact right through to completion.

She also advises clients in relation to re-mortgages, discharges and transfers of title including those which are a result of matrimonial breakdown and works closely with the family team to ensure each clients’ individual needs are met.

In 2017 she completed her specialist paralegal qualification (through the University of Strathclyde) in Residential Conveyancing and now has Accredited Paralegal status through the Law Society of Scotland and is a Member of the Scottish Paralegal Association.
